The Location – Nakuru
The school is located in the middle of the Rhonda Slum, three kilometers from the city center of Nakuru. Nakuru is the fourth largest city in Kenya and is based in the East African “Rift Valley”, which runs through the whole of Africa.
Rhonda itself is a “typical” slum. The people live in mud huts with corrugated iron sheets in very poor conditions. There is one big market where you can buy food, clothes and other essentials.
